Humming may be produced if this system is set near a TV or other audio equipment. If this happens, try changing the position of the equipment or the connection cords. Note that setting the connection cords (pin-plug cords) next to the power cords may result in humming or other noise.

Auto Tape Selector Mechanism

Type of tape (Normal, CrO2 or Metal) is detected automatically and automatically select the most appropriate recording bias and equalization of that type of tape.

Cleaning the Heads

To ensure good sound quality, clean the heads periodically using a commercially available cleaning cassette.

Demagnetizing the Head

The head inevitably becomes slightly magnetized after long usage. To demagnetize the head, use a commercially available cassette-type head demagnetizes.
