Notes on CD-R and CD-RW

This system can play CD-Rs or CD-RWs recorded with ISO 9660 format. This system supports “multi” discs. This system cannot play “packet write” discs.

It is possible to play back finalized +R/+RW (DVD Video Format only) discs. “DVD” lights on the display panel when a +R/+RW discs is loaded. This system accommodates the NTCS system, and also can play discs recorded with PAL system. Note that an PAL video signal on a disc is converted to the NTCS signal and output. The Non-DVD side of a”Dual Disc” does not comply with the “Compact Disc Digital Audio” standard. Therefore, the use of non-DVD side of a Dual Disc on this product may not be recommended.

For JPEG files

we recommend to record a file at 640×480 resolution. (If a file has been recorded at a resolution of more than 640×480, it will take a longer time to be displayed). this system can only play baseline JPEG files.

Precautions for daily use

When moving the speakers, do not pull the speaker cords; otherwise, the speakers may fall over, causing damage or injury. do not reproduce sounds at so high a volume that the sound is distorted; otherwise, the speakers may be damaged by internal heat buildup.

Headphone mode

When using the headphones, the following signals are output regardless of your speaker setting;

• for 2 channel sources, the front left and right channel signals are output from the headphones.
• Multi-channel signals are down-mixed and output from the headphones.
• (For DVD AUDIO) When the disc prohibits down-mixing, only the from left and right channels are output from headphones.
