Line Security

If your phone displays Line Not Secure while you are on a call, your phone has detected another device monitoring the call. This message does not appear when caller ID, call cost, or other information fills the display

Datebook

The datebook is a calendar that lets you schedule and organize events such as appointments and meetings. You can review your schedule of events for the week or by the day, and have the datebook play a reminder alarm for specific events.

You can send text messages and pictures or sounds to one or more recipients. You can manually enter each recipient’s phone number, or select one or more numbers from the phone book or recent calls lists.

Dialing a Phone book Entry

You can use the phone book list, voice dial, speed dial, or 1-touch dial to call a number stored in your phone book. To use speed dial, see “Speed Dialing” on page 39. To use 1-touch dial, see “One-Touch Dialing” on page 39.

TTY Operation

You can use an optional TTY device with your phone to send and receive calls. You must plug the TTY device into the phone’s headset jack and set the phone to operate in one of three TTY modes.
