FCC Compliance

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Re-orient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Shielded interface cables and I/O cords must be used for this equipment to comply with the relevant FCC regulations. Changes or modifications not expressly approved in writing by Samsung may void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.

Important

The mains lead for this machine is fitted with a standard (BS 1363) 13 amp plug and 13 amp fuse. When you change or examine the fuse, you must re-fit the correct 13 amp fuse. You then need to replace the fuse cover. If you have lost the fuse cover, do not use the plug until you get another fuse cover from the people who sold you the machine.

Hardware Requirements

To install and run the PCL printer driver, you must have the following  inimum hardware configuration.

• Windows 95 or Windows 98.
  • PC-compatible 486 computer or better.
  • 32MB RAM.
  • 200MB available hard-disk space.
• Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000
  • PC-compatible pentium 133MHz computer or better.
  • 64MB RAM.
  • 650MB available hard-disk space.
• CD-ROM Drive.
