Installation
Remove all packing material and accessories. Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or broken door. Do not install oven is damaged. Do not remove the light brown Mica cover that is attached inside the oven cavity to protect the magnetron.
Memory Cooking
You can enter five cooking programs to be saved in MEMORY. Each program can have up to 2 cooking stages, as some recipes require different stages of cooking at various power levels to get better results. Each stage can be programmed with a different time and power level.
Quantity
In microwave cooking, the cooking time is dependent on the amount of food in the oven. If you double the recipe, plan on doubling the cooking time.
Shape and Size
Cut food into uniform shapes and sizes for even cooking in the microwave. When cooking irregular shapes (such as chicken pieces), place the thicker parts to the other edge of the dish.
Microwave Thermometers:
A microwave-safe thermometer can be used to achieve the best result. Insert the thermometer carefully and properly into the food. The guide below gives suggested thermometer readings for meat and poultry. Keep in mind that standing time is essential for most food to reach its proper serving temperature.
