Installing the Batteries
You can 2AA size batteries (Ni-MH rechargeable or alkaline) to power the camera. Make sure that the power of the digital camera is off before inserting or removing the batteries.
- Make sure the camera is turned off.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert the batteries in the correct orientation as shown in the illustration.
- Close the battery cover.
- To remove the batteries, turn the camera off before removing batteries and hold the camera with the battery cover facing upward, then open the battery cover.
Using the LCD Monitor
Your camera is equipped with a 2.4′ full color TFT LCD monitor to help you compose images, replay recorded images/movie clips or adjust menu settings. The mode icons, text and numbers displayed on the monitor may vary according to the current settings.
Setting the Panorama Mode
This mode is designed to make it easier to take a series of shots then stitch them together with software to make a single photo. you Can capture a photographic subject that won’t fit into a single frame, such as a landscape, and stitch it together later with a program such as Cool 360 or Photoshop application.
Auto Bracket
In this mode, the camera automatically changes the exposure within a set range to take three shots after you press the shutter release button once. Auto Bracket settings can be combined with exposure compensation settings to extend the adjustment range.
