Installation Instructions
The AWS 900+ is supplied with a 3-core AC power cord and must be connected to a 3-pin grounded supply. If the available AC power supply includes a ground connection, then AWS900+ may simply be connected to the supply and is ready to operate. The power cord should be protected by a fused plug, fused spur or circuit-breaker according to local practice:
5A for 230V supplies; 10A for 100–110V supplies If only a 2-pin supply is available, AWS900+ must be installed by a qualified electrician according to local regulations to ensure that the metal chassis is permanently earthed and must only be used with single-phase supplies with the neutral conductor at earth potential – category TN. AWS900+ must not be used with TT or IT category supplies.
CE Certification
Note that any cables supplied with SSL equipment may be fitted with ferrite rings at either end. This is to comply with current European CE regulations and these ferrites should not be removed. If any of the console metalwork is modified in any way – particularly the addition of holes for custom panels etc. – this may the adversely affect the CE certification status of the product.
FCC Certification
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a ‘Class A’ digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment
