Dragging

Touching the desired item on the screen with the stylus and moving it along the screen surface is called “Dragging”. Just as you “drag” the mouse on your computer, use the stylus to “drag” the scroll bar to scroll the screen or “drag” characters to highlight them.

Quitting an application

You do not need to save data manually on your CLIE handheld as you do with the computer. All the changes in the application that you are working on are automatically saved, and the last screen you worked on is displayed when you restart the application. Display the CLIE 3D Launcher to switch to another application while you are working on an application. You can select one of two methods to display the CLIE 3D Launcher as follows.

Changing the Display style of the Palm OS Standard screen

On the Palm OS Standard screen, you can displayed applications in the list format or in the small-icon format. You can also choose to display your favorite category or last-used application when the Palm OS  Standard screen is displayed.

Decuma Input

Decuma input convents your handwriting into typed text and can be used to input text with any application. Simply write in the input area in the lower part of the screen. The interpretation of your handwriting displayed in the same place you write.

To add a new service template, select [New] from the Service menu. If the Internet Service Provider name you want to use is not displayed in the list, tap the area showing the service template, or select [New] from the service menu, and enter the new Internet Service Provider name.
