PC card overheating

Some PC cards can become hot with prolonged use. If two cards are installed, both can become hot even if only one is used extensively. Overheating of a PC card can result in errors or instability in the PC card operating. Also, be careful when you remove a PC card that has been used for a long time.

Key operation

Some operations require you to simultaneously use two or more keys. we identify such operations by the key top symbols separated by a plus sign (+). For example, Ctrl + C means you must hold down Ctrl and at the same time press C. If three keys are used, hold down the first two and at the same time press the third.

RTC battery

The internal RTC battery backs up the Real Time Clock (RTC) and calender.

AC adaptor

The AC adaptor provides power to the system and recharges the batteries when they are low. It comes with a detachable power cord. Because it is universal, it can receive a range of AC Voltage between 100 and 240 volts.

Modem

An internal modem provides capability for data and fax communication. It supports V.92(US/Canada) and V.90(other countries/regions). The speed of data transfer and fax depends on analog telephone line conditions. It has a modem jack for connecting to a telephone line.
